As I started writing on Search Engine Optimisation, Entrepreneurship and Business. I used ChatGPT to write these 10 blogs, whether it is ranked or not. The first thing I noticed is that AI content lacks E-E-A-T. This is the main reason Google won’t prioritise AI content. Some blogs ranked on the 2nd and 3rd pages, but after a few days rankings dropped too low.
What is E-E-A-T?
E- Experience: AI can’t have human-like experience that’s you can’t believe 100% that AI content is true.
Expertise: AI is just trained by various data, it doesn’t have real-time expertise. On the other hand, humans have expertise in a particular subject, so that’s why Google’s new policy won’t rank or support.
Authoritativness: AI-generated content lacks authority; it is just written by AI so that’s its authority is very low compared to human-written content and blogs.
Trustworthiness: Generated content could be misleading or wrong, that’s where comes very important factor that is trust. You won’t trust any generated content by AI
What did you need to do?
Generating content from ChatGPT and pasting it will not work. We can use AI for ideas, topics. We need to write high-quality human-written content that gives value to the audience, is trustworthy, and authoritative, then it will help people get real answers Using AI is not bad, but for writing blogs or sharing experience, you need to trust on human-written content that provides real value to the people. Focusing on user intent is also important what actually user is actually searching.
AI is some distributed Search engine ranking, but it won’t go away soon because, if you need real results, then you need to write real content.
Don’t depend on only Search Engines for traffic
Depending on only one medium to get traffic is not working today. Instead, focus on creating content for other channels as well, like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Your audience is everywhere people are interested in watching video content as well, so start creating shorts, reels on your industry and start sharing on these platforms can bring traffic to your website. The traffic has not gone anywhere; this is just shifted from one platform to another. People in past used to read more on search engines but now they are interested in watching and listening as well.
What will happen to bloggers and businesses?
Even the search results and SEO are changing, but SEO fundamentals and search engines will be there. Only little bit traffic is dropped that not means businesses and blogs will die, people like to read content that is written by humans and their experiences. Instead of depending on one platform start to optimizing for AI and social media platforms, images, videos and voice search.
